How To Do Makeup For Prom
Each woman wants to create a glamorous, out-of-the ordinary look through perfect prom makeup. In fact, good make-up can enhance your own features. The key to prom beauty is to look like you, and at the same time with a little added glamour. Remember less is always more and the more you look like your best self the better. Then, how to create this perfect look? It is actually not that difficult if you follow the right instructions.
Before Makeup & Skincare

Before Doing Prom Makeup Be Sure Your Face Is Clean and Properly Moisturized
Above all, it begins with your skin. That is why you should take care of your face, drink plenty of water, and stay out of the sun. Before doing your prom makeup, be sure your face is clean and properly moisturized since makeup blends best into moisturized skin. It is better to put your dress on beforehand to prevent any stains or smudges that might get on the dress while slipping it over your head.
Facial
Concealer and foundation hide imperfections and blemishes, and they give the skin a flawless appearance. So the first step to initial your prom makeup is to gently cover any dark circles under your eyes with a concealer. Then, look at the mirror and see if your skin has any blotches or redness. If so, blend these patches with a little more foundation with the exact color of your skin or choose a slightly darker shade because a light foundation will appear to sit on your face and will not blend as well.
Eyebrow Makeup
Next, set your prom makeup by lightly covering your face with a small amount of powder. Since makeup of brows is very important, groom your brows by combing them up and across with a brow brush or toothbrush. If you have thin brows, softly apply eye shadow to fill the brows in and give them a fuller appearance. As for eyes, use a brush to apply shimmery shadow to your eyelids. You can have a try of the shade based upon your natural complexion and the color of your dress.
Cheek Makeup
Also, blush of prom makeup can give your cheeks a touch of color. Start at the apple of the cheek and blend the blush up and then down with a full brush. A basic rule to follow, which varies slightly depending on each face, is to make an imaginary line from your ear to your nose stopping at the center of your eye. Do not go below this line with the blush. Generally, if you have a cool complexion then use a rosy colored blush and for warm complexions bronzed blushes look fabulous. To tell the truth, the perfect color of blush is the same as the color of your cheeks after a few minutes of exercise. Now it is time to apply some mascara to both your top and bottom eyelashes, creating a thicker covering on the outer lashes. To create fuller and longer lashes, wait for the first coat to dry and then apply a second coat.
Lip Makeup
The last step of prom makeup, fill in your entire lip with a creamy lip pencil for longer lasting color and use your finger to apply gloss on top which will give you a sexy, wet-lip look. Choose your lip color based upon your complexion, the color of your dress, and how much you want your lips to stand out.
